Cape Town-based photographer Michael Walker specialises in capturing his
images in the press.
He is currently the chief photographer for Cape Town's biggest morning newspaper, the Cape Times, and is available for specialised private assignments on request.
For many years Michael has been behind the lens shooting in Australia, Europe, Asia, Africa and USA. Accolades include numerous awards and the daily satisfaction of achieving excellence.
His professionalism and aptitude enables Michael to shoot way beyond his clients' expectations and with a photojournalism background Michael is comfortable in all environments and situations.
At the age of 4, Michael took his first leap into photography when he borrowed his mothers Kodak instamatic and shot his first photo essay. With the help of Tom Thumb fire crackers and the Lone Ranger, the passion was ignited.
